NSW: Teacher charged with 37 child sex offences
A Sydney high school teacher has been charged with 37 counts of child sex offences.
Police say the 61-year-old man was arrested at Randwick, in Sydney's east, following
a lengthy investigation by the Child Protection Enforcement Agency.
Police seized videos, photographs and documents from the Randwick address and an address
at Point Piper, also in Sydney's east.
Another search warrant was executed at a bank but no details were released of that operation.
The 37 charges include kidnapping of a 14-year-old child, two counts of homosexual
intercourse by a teacher, five counts of buggery, two of attempted buggery and 22 counts
of indecent assault on a male.
The man is due to appear in Waverley Local Court later today.
