NSW: Two people swim to shore after boat capsizes

SYDNEY, April 9 AAP - Two people have managed to swim to shore - even though one of
them has a fractured leg - after their boat overturned off the NSW Central Coast.

Their 8.5-metre boat overturned off Tallow Beach just before 11am (AEST) today, a Westpac
Life Saver Rescue Helicopter spokeswoman said.

It washed up on shore a short time later, and the two people on board were being treated
on the beach.

One of them had a fractured leg, she said.

They were expected to be airlifted to Gosford Hospital for further treatment.
