FED:Coalition continues to oppose NBN
The federal opposition is still insisting the 36 billion dollar national broadband
network is not a good deal for consumers.
The long-awaited NBN business plan .. released by the govenment yesterday .. suggests
a basic broadband service of 12 megabits a second will cost between 50 and 60 dollars
a month.
Opposition frontbencher GEORGE BRANDIS has repeated the coalition's call for an independent
cost-benefit analysis of the project.
He's told Sky News taxpayers won't begin to see a return on their investment until 2030.
